Position Overview
The Vice President of Sales is an exciting key hire for this innovative food company. This position will be responsible for managing the company’s sales strategy and increasing sales opportunities. An integral member of the Senior Management team, this role reports directly to the CEO and will oversee a team of sales professionals. Articulating sales objectives through conducting careful analysis of the company’s sales and marketing campaign performance, studying market data and customer performance, establishing, monitoring, and adjusting pricing of existing products, and promoting long-term growth opportunities by maintaining existing relationships and creating new business opportunities are all important aspects of this role. Leading by example and fully embracing the brand and the company’s goal to make flavorful, sustainable, and nutritious products that people love.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, MBA a plus. Ideally an individual who “grew up” in a large CPG company with strong business foundations, then went on to find success in the entrepreneurial environment of a smaller, emerging company. Must have an excellent understanding of the marketplace and competition to spot new trends, threats, and opportunities. Demonstrated history of participation in the creation, deployment, and management of a successfully executed sales strategy. Frequent travel will also be a requirement of this role.
