THE ROLE

Reporting to the Controller, the AR Deductions Analyst will be responsible for overseeing all deductions and summarizing of deduction categories, calculating channel and customer deductions percentages and recovering funds from customers for all unauthorized deductions.

Reviewing invoices for billing and shipment errors, requesting additional clarifying information from customers, ensuring chargebacks are properly processed and approved and that payments are applied in the correct period are all key responsibilities of this role.

Additionally, the AR Deductions Analyst will work to contribute ideas to manage and improve deductions resolution process and collaborate with internal team members to appropriately categorize deductions.

Finally, the AR Deductions Analyst will operate as an integral part of the month end close, helping the Controller to prepare monthly and quarterly customer P&L.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience. At least 2 years in deduction management for a CPG company.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to simplify financial information and present logical recommendations.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid proficiency of MS Excel, Power point & Word.
• Requires experience with retailer and deductions management.
