The Opportunity
Rodan + Fields seeks a high-performing Senior Brand Manager with strong leadership ability to manage a large, high growth category. This person will be responsible for brand planning, new product innovation and execution, and ongoing business management / development of marketing programs to support the business.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  •  Strategy:
    •  Spearhead brand innovation strategies and 3-year launch calendar for relevant categories
    • Present strategies to Brand Director and senior leadership to gain buy-in and cross-functional resources
  • Innovation:
    •  Develop and manage multiple complex innovation projects linked to global brand strategies and platforms
    • Lead new product innovation & holistic communication plan from consumer insight through launch through global lens
    • Spearhead diverse, cross-functional projects in partnership with key stakeholders throughout the organization (R&D, Manufacturing, Product, Events, Video, Field Development, etc.) to meet key goals and timelines
  • Base Brand Management:
    • Oversee forecasting S&OP process (ensuring forecast accuracy), manage budget and gross margin targets for relevant lines / products
    • Lead 360° marketing plans for existing brands to drive business momentum
    • Continue to develop sophisticated understanding of social media and digital marketing and make recommendations to inform 360° marketing programs
    • Serve as consumer and competitive expert for relevant categories. Keep brand director and senior management abreast of key data and trends.
    • Conduct comprehensive brand reviews and program analyses including recommendations to drive business
  • People Management:
    • Lead, mentor and develop 2 direct reports


  • 8 – 10 years of experience in brand management at a consumer goods company
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • MBA or general management training program highly desired
  • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with proven expertise in problem solving
  • Strong presentation skills and command of an audience
  • Ability to distill complex problems and recommendations in easily-digestible, cohesive management-friendly presentations
  • A strong understanding of the product life cycle and promotional process
  • A demonstrated passion for beauty and/or consumer products and social commerce
  • The ability to effectively partner and motivate across functions and with outside vendors
  • Excellent judgment in representing the Company to customers and consultants
  • A proven track record of contributing positively to team culture, working collaboratively and being accountable
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a great attention to detail
  • Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
