Position Overview:

The Brand Manager will own and lead brand strategy for his/her assigned brand, including all aspects of product, pricing, promotion, and merchandising at the company headquarters in northern California. Managing a current product portfolio and developing new business are key functions of this role. The Brand Manager will also develop and execute marketing plans (leveraging traditional, digital, social, and print marketing skills), create and launch new products, and develop, execute, and track programs and promotions. Managing a Marketing budget and working closely with internal and external partners (e.g. R&D, Engineering, agencies, 3rd party vendors) are also critical aspects of the role.

 

Qualifications Required:

Qualified candidates must have 3-5+ years of brand management experience within CPG and hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred but not required). Pet category and regulated products experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Must have good command of P&L management, be able to travel up to 30% and work in a fast-paced environment with excellent (long and short term) strategic acumen.

The ideal candidate will be an animal lover and visionary self-starter with a strong business sense and excellent attention to detail. He/she will work well independently and can juggle multiple projects at once while staying organized and goal-focused.
