Executive Recruiting Account Manager

Position Profile

The Account Manager will be responsible for growing and identifying short to mid-term contract opportunities with existing and new clients in our healthcare practice.  As an Account Manager you will be helping shape how companies grow and how candidates succeed through the management of the recruitment process from inception to successful placement. This is a key role in developing business opportunities for the office, then sourcing diverse candidate skill sets to turn those opportunities into revenue.  The ideal candidate is a focused and driven professional with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ongoing consultant to the client, drive the recruiting process, present qualified candidates to the hiring managers and ensure a positive experience for all parties involved in the process
  • Market our services to potential clients in order to generate business opportunities.
  • Negotiate bill rate and pay rate with both clients and candidates
  • Partner with clients to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, company culture, qualifications and skills.
  • Interface with hiring managers, Human Resources and other key stakeholders to manage expectations appropriately and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Initiate contact with candidates to explore career opportunities developed through marketing efforts.
  • Review resumes and interview candidates to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, salary requirements, cultural fit and a host of other criteria. 
  • Manage the placement process from service agreement, to sourcing and presentation of candidates, interview, offer, negotiation, closing and onboarding, and follow-up after the placement.
  • Lead candidates through the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Perform reference and background checks.
  • Perform detailed follow up work to track results and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify qualified leads and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Provide guidance to Project Recruiters and/or Internet Researchers on a project by project basis.
  • Document information and maintain records in our applicant tracking database.
  • Take personal responsibility for the success of your business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Successful experience in a sales-oriented role with quantifiable results and proven business development skills a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong cold calling skills and the ability to interact effectively with candidates and clients over the telephone
  • Strong PC skills, excellent knowledge of Windows operating system
  • Passionate, driven, competitive and focused
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage challenging situations in a professional and tactful manner
  • Resiliency necessary to handle the rejection, ups and downs of the recruitment process
  • Proactive approach and the ability to act quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Internet savvy to perform targeted internet research/searches
